There is a little girl that is 7 years old and she is known as my Peanut. Since the day she was born she has tugged at my heart (not that there aren't some other special ones in my life, but there has always been something extra special about this one.) I saw her after the hour she was born, she is my best friend's oldest and also my goddaughter. I got to hold her for hours when she was a baby and to this day she loves to sit and cuddle with me. Anyway, I lived with my best friend and her family for a little while when my Peanut was around 2 years old. I think she vaguely remembers this because she will ask when I am moving back in. Since I have had trouble getting an answer about a transfer and haven't been able to find a job and many other things that have gone wrong lately I told my best friend that I needed some luck and she said she had run out as well and that she would ask my Peanut for some of hers. A funny thing happened while my
BFF and my Peanut were out for a walk all on her own my Peanut told my
BFF that if I needed some of her luck she would give it to me, all without my
BFF suggesting anything. I mean how can you not just smile, she is just too sweet.
